I had the honor of marching with hundreds of union workers and supporters on the morning of July 5th in honor of the 75th anniversary of Blood Thursday. The day started with speeches at the Music Concourse across from the Ferry Building, followed with a march along the waterfront and ended with a celebration at the ILWU Local 10 Hall. The procession allowed my piece to do exactly what its intent was - to honor the lives of Nick Bordoise and Howard Sperry.
